Archuleta Family Bowling
Braeden decided for the family yesterday that we would all go bowling. We haven't done anything like that for a long time! It was a blast. Braeden and Arianna beat Timmy and I the first round. Nothing like getting beat by your kids. Good thing they aren't old enough to make fun of us. It was Nana girls first time bowling and she loved it. She would be excited and clapping and saying "Go, go, go!" even if she missed the pins. It was hilarious. We all juggled Kamari around as everyone took turns. Even prego Cass played with us. Braeden loves bowling, and before last night, he only has done it once before. He ranted and raved yesterday that he wanted to go, and it is funny that my 4 year old, brought our family together for a family night. We should listen to his ideas alot more if that's going to happen. LoL!
The funniest thing happened while we were there. There was a lady with blonde hair that was sitting at the table next to ours and Nana, not realizing, ran up to her and was hugging her and holding on to her arm, thinking it was her maama. Well, she looked up at the womans face, realized it wasn't her maama, and bolted towards us embarassed. It was so hilarious. We all laughed at her as she made her way back. She then would come down by the bench and start dancing!! It was soo cute! It was such a blast. Im glad the kids enjoyed themselves. All of the adults had a blast too. We are definately doing that again.

Good Times
We had nana girls birthday today. Short, sweet, and fun. Love it when that happens. She had tons of cool gifts. Thanks to all who came and enjoyed it with us!! She is so sweet! Everytime she opened a gift she said thank you to each person who got her something! Pretty dang good for a 2 year old. Although, my kids have always been really good about that stuff. Kamari managed to show everyone her super cute growl. It was overall a really good turn out. =)

Santa
Thursday morning on the way to drop the kids off to Aunt Pats, I had been listening to 97.1. Each Christmas season they do a part called "Scared Straight with Santa". Moms call in the studio and ask for "Santa" to call their child if they have been naughty and inform them that he will not bring the Christmas gifts. It is hilarious when you hear the reactions of these little children. I hadn't noticed that Braeden was listening intently until I looked in the rear view and saw how he was concentrating on the station. Santa had called a little 5 year old boy and was asking him if he was good. It followed with, "You stuck your tongue out at the prinicpal" and then the boy replying "No I didnt". I watched Braedens reaction.
This is how our conversation went:
Braeden: Mom, Santa called the boy
Me: Do you know why Santa called the boy?
Braeden: Why?
Me: Because he was a very bad boy. Santa only calls children who are being bad.
Braeden: I dont want Santa to call me.
Me: Well Braeden, do you want me to call him?
Braeden: No.
Me: Well I will if you are being bad.
I smirked. I now have a new weapon until the new year.

Paradise
I woke up this morning to Braeden casually telling me "I accidently locked nana in the bathroom". I flew out of bed to the bathroom door and she was screaming for me. I couldn't help but laugh because she was stuck in the bathroom. The one place in the house that she LOVES to be to "go potty", "wash her hands" (all day if she could) and to sit on the counter to "put her makeup on". You would think it would paradise for the soon to be 2 year old. I tried and tried to get the door unlocked with a wire hanger, and no luck. Finally, i stuck my hand under the door and said, "Nana, turn the lock" as I motioned with my fingers how to do it. Then, vualah, the door was opened. She ran out proud of herself, and then ran out blabbering a whole bunch of words and motioning for the door. It ended with her laughing and running into her room.
